Submit a Transition to Kindergarten Waitlist Form for the 2024-25 School Year

Transition to Kindergarten (formerly Kindergarten Academy) is a free program designed to assist young learners who would benefit from additional support to be successful in kindergarten.
Transition to Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-25 school year is closed. However, the district is accepting waitlist applications.
Program Eligibility
Waitlist applicants will be prioritized by the following program requirements:
- Reside in the Puyallup School District boundary
- The child's birthdate falls between Sept. 1, 2019, and Aug. 31, 2020
- No formal preschool or other pre-kindergarten experience
- Demonstrate need for additional support to be kindergarten-ready the following year
